Starter for iaculus
Recently, it had gotten colder. It wasn’t so bad, but her sensitivity to the cold made it feel worse. Hiromi gave a sigh as she rubbed her hands together for warmth, having forgotten her mittens in her room. She had her scarf but it seemed futile since she still felt cold.
She couldn’t help but want to be at home, under the covers, but couldn’t because she was at school. It was a harsh reality that she hated. Why must it be so cold??
The only thing that would have made the day
and her feel warmerwould have been Akihito. It was too bad he wasn’t there yet.
Akihito yawned as he walked to the clubroom after school; lately, he had been more tired than usual, probably from a lack of sleep and the fact that the sun sets at 5 pm.
He never actually expected anyone to be in the clubroom, but every time he was greeted by another body sitting patiently at the clubroom’s table. This time it just so happened to be Hiromi.
He walked over to his usual seat, setting down his bag, and sighed softly.
“Hey, Hiromi,” he uttered, looking down at her.
